Does this make my avatar look big?

Since we got back on the boards, my avatar always looks stretched in the N-S direction.  I;ve tried and tried to figure it out.  :mad: I have a mac.  Any suggestions?

Can you post the original image? Your avatar doesn't look weird to me.  :blink:

Edit: I think I figured it out. The original image is 500x375 so when it gets uploaded it gets squeezed into a 100x100 square. You'll probably need to crop it into a square and then uploaded.  :)

Mine looks a bit weird too. The poor Thylacines were not as chubby as they look in my avie.

The forum software is set up to automatically resize images larger than 100x100. Unfortunately when it does the original proportions are lost. If you don't have a perfect square, one side will look squeezed.

Do you have the means to manipulate your image WM or would you like me to do that?

No, it's OK. I'll just pretend the stripey fellas got fat from nicking food from tourists. :D
